THE BASICS. . .
Here are some basic playing patterns keyed to T.J.'s instructional video (see the diagram sheet for explanation of the key pattern, which from left to right is L-4, L-3, L-2, L-1, R-1,R-2,R-3, R-4).
Root Pattern: (this establishes the pattern) R-1, L-1, R-2, L-2
Second Change Pattern: (this signals a change in the pattern) R-2, L-2, R-3, L-3
Third Change Pattern: (the "turn around") R-3, L-3, R-4, L-4
